Sound Sational OBX

Soundsational is a 10. The view of the sound from all rooms at all levels is one of a kind. The home is beautifully furnished with a pool and elevator, is well equipped and has unique tile and stone work. As members of Corolla Light there are events for the kids daily at the clubhouse. It is easily accessible to the beach, clubhouse, clubhouse restaurant,tennis courts, shops, Whalehead Club and the lighthouse. The drive out beach is especially fun. We love Soundsational as our most favorite beach spot and when we return if feels like home! I call it heaven on earth!!

Favorite Family Activites: close to drive out beach-- tennis -- lighthouse--lounging by the pool after a full beach day and jet skiing in the sound right off the private dock! A pooltable in the recreation room on the first level makes great evening fun.

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Soundsational is the best restaurant in town!! There is not a better view (beautiful sunsets) or dinner seat around! Local restaurants we like are the Clubhouse -easy casual outdoor dining with ocean view and great food - Blue ? -view of the sound with great presentation and Mike and Diana's at Tim Buck Two, a great shopping area that is minutes away. Fresh produce, fresh seafood and a food store are in this area making as I say, "Soundsational the best restaurant on the island"!!

We've stayed at this house on a couple of visits and absolutely LOVE our time there. This house is so comfy and roomy, and it's just a pleasure to sit on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the sound. The sunsets are fabulous! There's plenty of space to spend time with family and friends, but also plenty of privacy when you need some quiet time.

Favorite Family Activites: We really enjoy walking with our pooches, or riding bikes. But our favorite time is probably the times we're able to drive our SUV up on the beach, find a place to park and walk the beach.

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: If you haven't done so, make some time to go up to tour the Whalehead Club, the lighthouse, and the OBX museum.
We'd have to say our favorite place to eat is North Bank down @ the Timbuck II shopping center. But we also enjoy Steamers and the Tomato Patch for take-out.

Love this house, love Corolla Light and love the Outer Banks. Our kids had a ball and this home had everything we needed. It rained one day and we went to the sports center and played in the indoor pool all day long.

We will be back and thank you for sharing your lovely home with my family.

Hi Sue and Craig,

Just peeking in at your house and noticed there are no pictures of the two king bedrooms or the kids bedroom. The master bath and the bath from the second king are barely shown. Manvilles picture should show the sofa and wall of art as well as the view of the sound. Id do a panoramic tour so every angle of every room is viewable.

Luckily, since Ive stayed at the house, I know how truly special it is and how liveable and comfortable it is especially for large families or big gatherings. Everyone can be together, whether cooking in the kitchen or watching the big screen or out on the top deck. The floor plan is so open it lends to everyone being able to congregate and not miss out on any of the fun.

Get some pictures of those king size bedrooms and their lovely bathrooms on the website. Id also include the kids room and a few more sunsets. It truly is a Sound Sational house from top to bottom!
